Like the one I held once, not knowing its light,
Is now what I see in every moonlight.
Just like the past, still here with me,
Not in form-but in shadow-silently.
The future I walk was once seen in him,
And on this path, his glow never dims.
Once a person, once an inspiration, once whom I loved,
Now a memory... a moonlight above.
He held my hand through storms and rain,
Taught me strength, softened my pain.
Now in the hush of each silent night,
He speaks to me-not in voice, but light.
Gone from sight, but not from soul,
He shaped my heart, he made it whole.
So when I'm lost, I need not fear-
For moonlight tells me he is near.
